Frequently asked questions
Are photos uploaded?
No. Photos are processed in browser memory. AI code and models download from jsDelivr and Google, but photos are not sent to them.
Is passport acceptance guaranteed?
Korean passports prohibit AI editing/compositing and background removal/replacement. Korean ID cards exclude retouched/image photos; driving licences require a passport-style colour photo with no background. US passports prohibit filters, edits, retouching, background replacement and AI; Chinese visas prohibit modification/compositing. Photograph against a real white wall. Use only crop, size and print with background replacement OFF, retouch 0 and lighting/brightness/contrast off. Framing and acceptance are not guaranteed.
How do I print the 4×6 sheet?
Use 4×6 inch paper at actual size (100%), disable fit-to-page, and cut at the marks. Exact 10×15 cm paper is slightly smaller and can change the photo size.
Does retouching change facial features?
Skin smoothing does not change face geometry, but that does not make it acceptable for official submissions. Background replacement, retouch and lighting match are for résumés, portraits and general use.
What if processing fails?
Use a current browser with internet access and select a JPG, PNG or WebP under 30 MB again. Processing cannot run if AI model downloads are blocked.
What are Korean passport online file rules?
35×45mm; crown (skull top excluding hair) to chin 32–36mm; within 6 months; uniform white background. Online JPG: recommended 413×531px, accepted 395–431×507–550px, up to 500KB, 300 dpi. This tool exports the Korean passport photo JPG at 413×531px and up to 500KB.
